The QC laboratory sits next to the pilot hall: results from a day of operation are available by the end of that same day, and the next run is corrected and planned on data instead of waiting on an external lab. That loop, an experienced team, and a facility designed for turnaround are why campaigns start in weeks and runs iterate daily.

A campaign runs from scoping, covering feedstock characterization, target product definition, and simulation of the full flowsheet, through bench trials at gram to kilogram scale to lock the process window, into pilot runs at up to 50 kg/h continuous with real time control, and out as an engineering package: developed flowsheet, mass balance, product samples and analysis, process design basis and design criteria, and the selection of equipment and technology for each unit operation.
